Important Recall Information: A Number of Natural Health Products Potentially Contaminated With Chloramphenicol May Pose Serious Health Risks to Consumers

OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – Oct. 18, 2013) – Health Canada wishes to inform Canadians that additional natural health products (see chart below) are being voluntarily recalled by a number of Canadian companies due to a possible contamination with chloramphenicol, an antibiotic that may pose serious health risks to consumers.
